Chiropractic Examination

A chiropractic examination is very similar to standard examination procedures administered by all health care providers. .An initial chiropractic exam will typically have three parts: a consultation, case history, and a physical examination. Treatment, Laboratory analysis and X-ray examination may be performed.

Chiropractic Adjustment/Manipulation

The term “adjustment” refers to the specific manipulation chiropractors apply to vertebrae that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. The objective of the chiropractic treatment is to reduce the subluxation (mal-positioned vertebrae), which results in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability and improved function.

Therapeutic Exercise and Stretches

Therapeutic exercise involves movement prescribed to correct impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function and/or maintain a state of well-being.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It is used to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and medical conditions.

Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Manipulation (IASTM)

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is the use of a set of hand held instruments to break down the scar tissue and fascial restrictions in soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and nerves).
